Crowdin is in development stage and a team of engineers is working hard to bring it to you as soon as possible.
Currently we support few i18n formats, work on basic system components like editor, translation memory and other, but a lot of things still have to be done.
Please contact us via email if you have any suggestions or ideas so we can implement them before beta version.

We are very excited to announce that from now Crowdin provides a complete solution for localization of software built on Microsoft .NET, Java and Android platforms. This means you can easily translate any software, service or application built on one of the above mentioned development platforms to more than 90 languages. Crowdin is first tool on the web which offers localization for Android applications. Versions 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0 are supported. Crowdin reduces the cost and turnaround time of localization. Great news - Crowdin moved to new cloud hosting. Now big traffic amount will be handled easily. Although, we have thoroughly tested our web service and got proper quality and usability assurance. Everything works as it should, fast and smooth. And main thing - you can use it for free! Follow our announcements to know when Beta is released.

It's been a while since we last wrote here, Crowdin has grown a lot since the last time you checked in, and we thought we'd give you an update on what's been happening.

At first we're very very pleased to once again being world's first! This time we have released the world's first Samsung Bada localization tool. Before that we were world's first with Android online localization tool.

What is really cool about Crowdin latest version is the fact that it was greatly improved, not just bugfixes but also a lot of super useful features and sexy as hell tools (I'm talking about recently anounced Crowdin JIPT).

Among Major Changes

On-demand projects export.
Significantly improved project management tools and translators environment.
Fixed all annoying bugs, whooh...
Published amazing API with the few extensions developed by our most active customers.

At last I would like to say Thank You to all our beta testers! Crowdin will never be so great without your support and feedback we've received from all of you!

Introducing Crowdin Pricing

Today, we're introducing pricing for Crowdin. All of the details, including price plans and transition information, are below.

Over 10,000 users have used Crowdin at no charge for the last 3 years. The growth in usage has been unimaginable, and we think Crowdin has helped to transform how the world localizing software.

Considering the growing popularity, support costs, and the need for continuous service improvements, it is no longer possible for us to offer Crowdin at no charge.

To ease the transition, nevertheless, Crowdin will remain free for all existing users, as well as for new users that would like to translate Open Source software (regardless of project size or number of collaborators).

Our goal is to make Crowdin affordable for everyone, from bootstrapped startups to larger development teams within established organizations. Price plans begin at just $9 per month. More information on pricing is available on the new pricing page.

To keep up with increasing growth, we've recently moved to a new hosting environment with dedicated hardware, expanded our development team, and invested in stronger operational capability.

Separately we also wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who have been supporting Crowdin Team by purchasing subscription before we have publicly announced pricing. That really means a lot for us!
